A boutique, full-service commercial real estate company specializing in property management, leasing, asset management, and development throughout the Twin Cities, is looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join their team. Their portfolio includes retail, office, mixed-use, and multifamily properties, providing a unique opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of real estate operations. As an Assistant Property Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting our growing portfolio while collaborating with teams across Property Management, Leasing, Accounting, Asset Management, and Development. Position Summary

The Assistant Property Manager supports the day-to-day operations of a commercial property portfolio by coordinating vendors, assisting tenants, supporting accounting processes, tracking projects, managing inspections and compliance, and helping ensure our properties are professionally maintained. This position plays an important role in delivering exceptional service to our tenants while supporting the efficient operation of the portfolio.


What You'll Do

•Coordinate the day-to-day operations of primarily retail, office and mixed-use properties.

•Schedule and coordinate vendors performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance.

•Conduct routine property inspections and track operational and capital improvement projects.

•Serve as a primary contact for tenant questions and landlord-led communications.

•Coordinate required inspections, testing, permits, and regulatory compliance.

•Solicit vendor proposals, coordinate scheduling, verify completed work, and maintain vendor relationships.

•Track vendor invoices from receipt through payment, coordinate approvals, and work closely with the Accounting team.

•Collect tenant sales reports and assist with operational reporting, budgeting support, and property records.

•Support day-to-day administrative functions, including invoice tracking, documentation, and departmental reporting.

•Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and department efficiency.


What We're Looking For

•Commercial property management experience preferred; residential property management or related real estate experience/education will be considered.

•Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

•Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

•Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and service providers.

•Strong administrative and customer service skills with exceptional attention to detail.

•Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and AI; experience with property management software is a plus.

•Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
